Lancaster Training Services Ltd (LTS) also offer those people who work in a garage, but not in a mechanical role, the chance to gain a qualification. The Level 2 Customer Service qualification is becoming quite popular. As with any qualification, employers and employees can see the benefits to having such an NVQ.

What are the qualifications about?  

The purpose and aim of the Level 2 NVQ is to provide practising customer service professionals with the opportunity to review their approach to customer service (what they do and how they do it), with the aim of raising their customer service performance for the future.
The NVQ is based around 5 key themes:

A. Customer Service Foundations
Know, understand and apply the language and concepts of customer service

B. Impression and Image
Build, maintain and develop customer relationships

C. Delivery
Meet or exceed customer expectations during customer service delivery

D. Handling Problems
Maintain customer loyalty by handling customer service problems effectively

E. Development and Improvement
Develop activities and approaches that identify and deliver improvements to customer service

These themes are provided as units, most of which are optional, therefore providing candidates with the flexibility to select functions which best fit their job role.

Who are they for?  

An NVQ in Customer Service is for anyone already working in the motor industry (ideally behind the reception desk) and wants to demonstrate their competence and knowledge abilities in the field of customer service.

Can I progress ?  

YES! There is a Level 3 Customer Service qualification available to progress onto once you have completed the Level 2 NVQ. Contact us for more information.
