Lancaster Training Services Ltd offers a one day abrasive wheel course taking place at our Training Centre in Heysham.
Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98)
In relation to abrasive wheels, PUWER 98 requires, among other things, that all machinery is suitable for its intended use and is properly maintained and that employees, including those using, mounting and managing the operation of abrasive wheels, are fully informed and properly trained in their safe use. PUWER 98 demands that not only those that change or mount abrasive wheels but also those that use, operate, manage and supervise the use of abrasive wheels must be trained as well.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for all operators, managers and supervisors who, as part of their working duties, select, mount, specify or use abrasive wheels as defined in PUWER Regulations 1998.
Aims and Objectives
