irtec Inspection – LGV & PCV
irtec Course – Inspection Technician – Large Commercial Vehicle & Passenger Carrying vehicles
Who is it for?: This qualification/licence is aimed at technicians working with heavy vehicles.
Aim: A 1-day session combining training and assessment on the content of the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) MOT inspection manual and general capabilities when inspecting heavy vehicles.
Method of Delivery: Training and assessment.
Assessment: Multiple choice on-line underpinning knowledge exam and practical assessment. The day will include training and the on-line and practical assessments.
Pre-requisites: A minimum of 3 years mechanical experience working with Large Commercial Vehicles (LGV or PCV) OR a Level 3 nationally recognised competence qualification(NVQ, VCQ etc) and 1 year of experience.
Price: £320.00 (£370.00 Saturday) plus VAT to cover the online test preparation and the Assessment of Inspection plus £120 registration and certification fee, totalling £504.00 total inc Vat weekday – £564.00 inc Vat Saturday. (Prices correct as of 01-01-2024)
